¿Por qué necesitamos un centro de recuperación canina?

Como ya sabéis, queremos construir un centro de recuperación canina para alojar a perros con problemas de conducta. En otras ocasiones, en nuestro blog hemos explicado por qué creemos que un centro de este tipo es importantísimo para complementarse con protectoras "tradicionales" y qué beneficios puede aportar.  Podéis leer más sobre este tema en nuestra web:  http://www.conectadogs.com/blog/un-centro-de-recuperacion-canina/.

Hoy, queremos explicaros por qué necesitamos el centro además de para ayudar  a estos perros a superar sus problemas de condcuta y conseguir que sean adoptados. Como ya sabéis, estos animales van a participar en el Proyeco CRAE, la psicoterapia que estamos desarrollando junto con la Universidad del País Vasco.

Para poder hacerlo cn las máximas garantías, necesitamos hacer un trabajo previo con cada uno de estos perros para corregir algunos comportamientos derivados de sus propios traumas y miedos. Solo así podrán sacar un provecho real de las sesiones en el CRAE, en la que los niños y adolescentes del centro les enseñarán cuestiones básicas de obediencia para facilitar su adopción (claro está, trabajando siempre acompañados por adiestardores y psicólogos).

Además, una vez el proyecto esté en marcha necesitamos alojar a los perros en un centro que reduzca al mínimo posible su estrés y su ansiedad, para evitar posibles retrocesos que perjudicarían tanto a los animales como a los menores del centro que se encargan de educarles.

Y, por último, tener un centro propio nos permitirá corregir sus problemas de conducta, pero también enseñarles a pasear, a relacionarse con perros y personas y, en definitiva, a muchos contextos con los que se encontrarán una vez sean adoptados.
